Project
Blink is a publishing house for adult non-fiction imprints. They reached out because they were looking for a new in-house designer to create the covers of their new releases. I was selected as one of the finalists for the position, and was assigned the task of producing a cover for their new book, Running For My Life. A new self-help publication tha tells the inspirational story of one woman's marathon journey through mental illness. They requested the cover to be simple, putting emphasis on the title. The font used is an orginal designed that I produced myself.

Project
This project was requested by a PHD student who had been researching on hip and knee replacement. My first draft (left) is busier and included more surgery-related icons. The client and I were always in open conversations and worked together to accomplish her vision. The final result was a much simplistic design that uses a palette of four colours to make it feel more academic.
